Jasper Trenton is an emerging poet whose work is shaped by resilience, identity, and lived experience. A 21-year-old trans man, Jasper’s life journey spans from the reservation lands of Arizona to the fast-paced streets of Las Vegas, and now to the landscapes of Montana. Along the way, he has taken on immense responsibility, helping raise his siblings and caring for his adopted daughter.
His poetry reflects both struggle and survival, weaving together themes of family, displacement, identity, and healing. Beyond writing, Jasper is academically driven, currently studying forensic psychology and holding two associate degrees in music education and psychology that influence the emotional depth and structure of his work.
Jasper is also passionate about storytelling through visual media and has contributed to the production of a film, further expanding his creative voice beyond the page. At home in Montana, he shares his life with his husband, Bryan, and their two dogs, Apollo and Vannabelle, who ground and inspire his creative journey.
